I believe in the magic of a great photo. My Mom and Grandma were always taking snaps of me, my cousins , and our friends during summers at the lake and family holidays. I love that I can take one look at those photos and immediately travel back in time – to remember exactly how those moments felt.
Once I had two lovely daughters of my own, I knew I wanted to document their experiences the way the women who came before had. I loved taking photos – and had a natural talent for it – so I invested in some professional equipment and practiced capturing my family's memories, emotions, and personalities on camera. Between my daughter's school days, dance competitions, and our family's epic road trips (we've visited 49 states together!), I took thousands of photos before finally turning my lens to the senior experience.
My favorite thing about taking senior photos is getting to know each senior and bringing out their distinct personality in their photos. I also love helping my girls with styling the perfect outfit and getting comfortable and confident in front of the camera. And when one of my guys can't help but love the experience... that's the best.
